  • Friday 8am – 4pm

Dr Emma Scriven cares for people of all ages with all types of medical issues and concerns. She also supports her patients to stay healthy and well through her proactive approach to preventative health. She has a special interest in women’s and family medicine, from antenatal care through all stages of life. This interest has been long held and was part of her reason for joining the medical profession, as was the opportunity her role presents to make a difference in the lives of others.

As a mum Dr Scriven understands first-hand the challenges that families face. She is very empathetic as she strives to help those families to effectively manage and overcome those challenges. Her warm and welcoming manner ensures her patients immediately feel at ease. She values their trust and enjoys the long-term relationships she nurtures and grows.

Dr Scriven completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with Honours at Monash University in 2006. She spent two years working in Victorian hospitals, including the Royal Children’s Hospital, before commencing general practice in regional Victoria. She moved to Queensland in 2012 and worked in Ipswich and Woolloongabba before joining the Sinnamon Park Medical Centre team.

Dr Scriven is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
